Create 51 supported UKWIR as they moved away from a technically-focused research organisation to one leading the UK water sectors research agenda, supported by a new and refreshed approach to communications and engagement.
Our work included supporting UKWIR’s Board, CEO and management team to develop a communications and engagement strategy that supported its corporate objectives and the delivery of its Big Questions research agenda, better aligning with the evolving needs of the sector.
We worked closely with the UKWIR team and executive to produce a refreshed annual review, high-quality and accessible project summaries, engaging press releases and social media posts to raise awareness of upcoming and completed projects. We also supported UKWIR to prepare and run its first Annual Conference, which has now become a regular feature on the conference circuit.
We secured coverage and interviews with trade media and produced films and animations to communicate UKWIR’s priorities and work, increasing its social media follows and raising the profile of its important work.
Supporting Spring – the water sector’s innovation centre of excellence
As part of our work with UWKIR, we supported the launch of Spring – the UK and Ireland water sector’s innovation centre of excellence.
This included supporting communications for Spring’s launch, securing interviews with The Water Report and Utility Week Innovate, launch webinars and wider stakeholder engagement.
After Spring launched, we drafted blogs and social media posts, facilitated stakeholder webinars, edited consultation responses and bid submissions and supported the launch of their communities.
